The Core Curriculum for the new SAT will leverage Target Tutoring’s ACT offerings, augmenting them for those students who choose to take the new SAT.
All students will begin their verbal training with the ACT Intensive: this course will provide a comprehensive review of English grammar as well as an introduction to key reading comprehension techniques and strategies. Students will adapt these skills to the SAT format in SAT Precision Practice; here, they will gain experience with the digital and adaptive format of this new test and will learn how to navigate its idiosyncrasies with confidence.
To prepare for the math modules of the SAT, students will first take the ACT Math Booster, which covers key arithmetic, algebra, and geometry topics. The follow-up course, the SAT Math Intensive, will focus on more advanced topics and techniques. SAT Precision Practice will offer further guided practice. Target Tutoring’s small class sizes allow for substantial individualized attention.
